Newports No.1 Astroturf™ League

The Rules

We have retained the Champions league format for this years cup, the teams have been drawn unseeded in 8 groups of 4, within the groups it will be 3pts for a win and 1 pt for a draw, the top 2 teams will go into the knockout cup, the 3rd placed team will go into the knockout plate whilst the 4th placed team will be eliminated completely.

The groups will be decided first by points, then by goal difference and then if needed on goals scored.

The new rules for missing games apply for the cup competition except in the knockout stage.

Group 2: AFC, ST Johns, Hartridge, Dynamo Kebab

Group 3: Exiles, Hangover 69, Santos, Patent Office

Group 4: Hermans, Dreamteam, Arrows, Brdaric

Group 5: Showboaters, Saints, Eagles, Trojans

Group 6: Lech, Strollers, Sharks, Real Athletico

Group 7: Barbarians, Wilkinsons, Allstars, Robins

Group 8: Rochester, GPR, CBC, Olympic Mayo
