So here we are, 1/3 of the way throught the season and already things are taking shape, The top of the premier league resembles last season but currently positions are switched, although Ringland are unbeaten this season its St Johns that top the premier league even though they lost to Ringland, the suprise with the Prem is that only 123 goals have been scored so far this season which is lower than all other divisions.
Another unbeaten team is the recently relegated Lech in Div 1, the poles top the division closely followed by Royal Oak who continue theyre momentus rise throught the divisions, a total of 136 goals have been scored so far this season and you want to see goals then Robins are the team to follow, there is an average of 6.14 goals scored in every game they play in, as they sit in the early season relegation spot its probably not a statistic that Alex and the boys will be proud of.
Leading the league of goals is Div 2, a massive 185 goals have been scored in the league currently headed by Exiles after a 4 game unbeaten run, as per last season in Div 1, the team to follow if you want goals is the Eagles, there is a massive average of 8.86 goals in each of the Eagles games, on the basis they sit in 3rd with 31 goals scored and 31 goals conceded its the team to folow for action.
Div 3 has been dominated by Aardvark in the early weeks until Wilkinsons recently held the top spot for a spell, Aardvark also have the highest goal difference in all 4 divisions mainly due to top goalkeeping and a 19-1 drubbing of Barbarians in week 3, although 149 goals have been scored so far amazing enough we have 2 of the lowest averages down the turf, Wilkinsons who currently sit in 2nd see only 3.14 goals scored per game whereas Patent Office havent actually scored in 4 of theyre 7 games.
Its a funny old game :)
